Aims and Scope

Aim & Scope

The aim of the Journal is to offer a platform for the researchers throughout the world to swiftly publish, share and discuss various new findings and developments in the various areas of Environmental Sciences and engineering. The International Journal of Environmental Research (IJER) is a multidisciplinary journal concerned with all aspects of environment. These include environmental science, environmental engineering, environmental management and planning, urban and regional landscape design and natural disaster management. Articles may be theoretical, interpretative or experimental nature. Coverage includes water, soil and air contamination; environmental processes affecting bio systems and people; remediation of man-made or natural hazards; environmental problems related to the mining, farming and industrial activity, as well as for oil and gas, water and energy; environmental impacts of human activities, impacts of hazardous and land use management.

The main aspects of research areas include, Atmospheric pollutants, Bioremediation of contaminants, Climate change, Concentrations and spreading of wastes in air, water and soil, ecosystems, Earth’s response towards climate change, Ecological and human risk assessment, Energy conservation, Energy resources, Environmental biology, Environmental chemistry, Environmental ecology, Environmental engineering, Environmental impact assessment, Environmental microbiology, Environmental remedial action planning, Environmental sciences,  Environments pollution control, natural hazards, Green technology for sustainable development, Heavy metals and organic compounds in the environment, Improved energy management, Point and non-point sources pollution, Pollutant transport in the environment, Pollution and remediation, Purification of air, soil and water, Sewage treatment, Soil biodegradation, Soil science, Solid and hazardous waste management; Sustainable development, Transport and fate of pollutants in the environment.
